We had the good fortune of connecting with Sasha Rose and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Sasha, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
I decided to change my mindset. To do the hard work to recognize my hang ups and stop standing in my own way. Believing in myself and my abilities. Pushing outside my comfort zone and doing the things that scared the crap out of me.

What should our readers know about your business?
I started my company in 2019 after my son being diagnosed with special needs. I needed to be available to my family and advocate for the care my son needed to have the best quality of life. I had been a bookkeeper for 11 years at that point and made the decision to open my bookkeeping firm. Our mission is to empower women with the financial confidence to make savvy business decisions. I believe what sets us apart is our ability to truly understand the delicate balance women entrepreneurs face when wearing as many hats as we do. We are all the things. Mom, Wife, Sister, Daughter, Friend, everything to everyone. Our company wants to help take one of the thousand things of your plate so you can focus your energy on balancing your life and business.

I grew my business by getting out in my community and providing value every chance I could. I started a chapter for a local networking group in my town. Getting in the community with like minded women is life changing and it has been the greatest blessing to my business. The hardest part has been working through the nerves of selling yourself and your business. Getting out and building that muscle by just doing has helped me overcome those challenges. The biggest lesson I have learned is to find a great sounding board. A group of people who you can talk through wins and struggles with. Entrepreneurship can be incredibly lonely sometimes and that sounding board will keep you sane.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live right outside of Houston, Texas. The restaurant choices are endless but a couple of my favorites are Brennan’s of Houston, Pizaro’s, Potente, Hugo’s, Bernie’s Burger Bus, Maggiano’s, Yard House, and Whiskey Cake. Crawfish is HUGE here when in season. Some of our favorite activities include the Miller Outdoor Theatre, Houston Zoo, Holocaust Museum, Hermann Park, Astros Games at Minute Maid Park, Space Center Houston, Kemah Boardwalk, and the beach!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to dedicate my shoutout to Ati Grinspun, my business and branding coach. Without you pushing me and mentoring me, my business wouldn’t be what it is today. Thank you Ati!
