Meet Sarah Auda | Founder and CEO of Three Beats Consulting

We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Auda and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The number one key to my success has been that from day one of my business I have invest heavily in my own support. I hired a business coach, a virtual assistant, a subcontractor team, a bookkeeper and CPA, a financial advisor, and more. As a business owner it’s vital to create your own team, even if the people on the “team” are contractors and not fully employed by you.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’ll start sharing personally. I’m a single mother of an amazing 7-year old daughter and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, which is where I currently live and work now.
Almost 7 years ago a friend of mine was killed out of the blue and it changed my life completely. As a result, I asked myself big questions and ultimately changed my personal life and career trajectory.
After spending over 15 years in corporate jobs and climbing the ladder of success, I made the transition from working FOR a CEO to BEING my own CEO.
For 6 years I worked with my own coach to build my business, mainly doing individual life/ business/ leadership coaching, and recently I expanded my subcontractor team to bring on more coaches, facilitators, trainers, and strategists to work with corporate teams and organizations.
In our work with individuals and/or executives and leaders, we bring our expertise in strategic communication, higher education, and leadership development to forge a partnership built for professionals committed to experiencing exponential results out of their already-established success.
During our carefully curated and bespoke approach, clients are immersed in practical processes that open them up to deeper creativity, strategic possibilities and action plans that impact the bottom line and team culture.
What makes the Three Beats process unique is that we work from a foundational understanding of universal concepts that can be personalized and put into practical and immediately applicable steps. The results matter, and our clients receive them.
Our corporate program, Leadership Lab, exclusively provides executive/team training, coaching, and development for organizations that value optimism, enthusiasm and growth.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Day One:
First, we’d stay at one of my favorite hotels, La Valencia, with an ocean-view room. We’d walk the grounds and take lots of pictures of the fantastic and funky pink and modern-deco vibe. Grab a drink at the lobby bar and go for a sunset walk on the beach before having dinner on property and taking a dip in the pool.
Day Two:
The next morning, we’d sleep in and have a decadent brunch at The Med (at the hotel) before gearing up to head to Torrey Pines Golf Course. We’d do the driving range and end up at The Grill for eats and drinks overlooking one of the most famous golf properties in the game. We’d end the night watching the sunset and soaking in the hot tub.
Day Three:
The next day, we’d do a fun historical outing and walk Old Town San Diego with a guided tour. We’d do some shopping, get some great Mexican food, and rent bikes to see even more of the area. In the late afternoon, we’d get appetizers and drinks at a fantastic tiki bar, False Idol!
Day Four:
This day wold be dedicated to luxury and slowing down. We’d make our whole day at the Spa at Rancho Valencia with facials, jacuzzi dips, and massages. We’d end the day with an amazing, Michelin-star dinner at Addison, at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar.
Day Five:
We’d take a drive over the bridge to Coronado Island and walk the ground of Hotel del Coronado. We’d walk the beach, get wood fire pizzas at Enzo’s, and do some shopping. In the early evening, we’d eat a delicious, seasonal cuisine dinner at Grant Grill, and end the night watching stand-up comedy at The Laugh Factory.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
A book that has been the foundation of my leadership philosophy is called “Authentic Success” by Robert Holden. I cannot recommend it enough for people who want to expand their understanding of real values and principles to live and lead by.
