We had the good fortune of connecting with Sarah Advincula and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Sarah, can you tell us more about your background and the role it’s played in shaping who you are today?
I’m originally from the Philippines; born and raised. Moved here to the US when I was 21 years old. Growing up there really shaped who I am. It taught me the importance of family, respect, and finding joy in the simple things. The sense of community is huge, and that’s definitely stuck with me—I love connecting with people and being there for others. Plus, our culture is so rich and diverse, so I feel like I grew up with an open mind and a lot of flexibility. It’s a big part of who I am today.”
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a shared office space community manager, I’ve dedicated my career to creating vibrant, collaborative environments where professionals of all kinds feel welcome, connected, and empowered to do their best work. What sets me apart is my commitment to cultivating a space that not only meets the practical needs of the people who work here but also fosters a real sense of belonging. I prioritize building relationships, understanding the unique needs of each client, and supporting them in ways that allow them to thrive, both individually and as part of our community.
My journey to this role wasn’t always smooth. I faced many challenges, from learning to manage a diverse set of clients, various expectations to ensuring the space stayed flexible yet functional for everyone. Over time, I realized that the key to overcoming these obstacles was to stay adaptable, listen to feedback, and continuously improve my customer service skills based on real user experiences. These experiences taught me the importance of resilience, empathy, and adaptability.
One of the proudest aspects of my work is watching clients and community members succeed and knowing I played a part in creating a supportive environment for their growth. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see the direct impact that a well-run space can have on someone’s productivity, creativity, and professional success.
Through my story and the brand I work for, I want the world to understand that a shared workspace is more than just a desk or an office—it’s a place where meaningful connections are made, ideas come to life, and people feel genuinely supported in their professional journeys.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
As I look around and see how far I’ve come, I’m filled with gratitude for everyone who has helped me reach this point in my journey. This isn’t just my success—it’s a collective achievement that I share with my family, friends, colleagues, and the incredible Zumba Community.
A special thank you goes to my older sister Shiela, whose always been an inspiration to me. And to my Zumba family, whose love, energy, support, and joy bring so much light to my life and keeping me inspired to be the best Zumba Instructor I can be. Their enthusiasm and passion remind me why I do what I do every day!
To everyone who has mentored, cheered me on, and believed in me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I dedicate this shout-out to you all, with a little extra love and recognition for my sister and my Zumba fam—you deserve all the credit in the world! 💖
