We had the good fortune of connecting with Roslyn Rositani and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Roslyn, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Having recently moved to San Diego from out of state I quickly realized I would not be able to achieve the same standard of living in in the beauty industry working for someone else so That’s when I started thinking about what kind of business I would like to own. I quickly realized there were little to no upscale nail salons in coastal north county so that’s the niche I targeted when starting my business.

What should our readers know about your business?
Paint Nail Bar is a national franchise which I chose for multiple reasons. First, their business practices, product lines, chemical/fume free and non-animal tested products as they are better for the environment, client, technicians and industry. Another reason PNB stands out is our focus on customer service, clean and inviting decor and focus on customer satisfaction. We practice 3 points of contact and do our best to ensure every customer leaves satisfied with the quality of the service and intention to be a faithful customer.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being new to California myself I’m still experiencing all that California has to offer ..I have some local favorites ; Le papagayo off the 101, city taco , stone brewery .to name a few . We’d hang out at moonlight beach or ponto in Carlsbad , ride electric bikes up the coast. I’ve yet to visit balboa park so that’s defiantly on my radar . Down town San Diego is fun too catch a Padres game and hang out down town after . La Jolla is great for seal watching and catching a sunset ..

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’ve had many mentors and People I’ve crossed paths with in my 32 years in the beauty industry. I’ve learned
Many valuable lessons, most importantly that if you’re passionate about what you do and put in the work you can not only be extremely successful but also influence and inspire others.
