Meet Robbi Milan | Actress/Comedian/Host/Model

We had the good fortune of connecting with Robbi Milan and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Robbi, what matters most to you?
I have always valued staying true to myself it’s the only way to represent your truth with your brand/image. Many times people would give me bad advice but I’ve learned to listen to myself!
Please tell us more about your work. We’d love to hear what sets you apart from others, what you are most proud of or excited about. How did you get to where you are today professionally. Was it easy? If not, how did you overcome the challenges? What are the lessons you’ve learned along the way. What do you want the world to know about you or your brand and story?
I’m a women of many talents in which I’m very grateful/proud of. I started my career as a child/teenage model I had a very bright future too! But I had no parent consent so I had to quickly think of a plan B before the summer. I re-invented my 13 yr old self into a hairstylist, I worked in a mall and pretended to be 18yrs old too! I spent a total of 35 years as a hairstylist and I’m now happily retired! As a hairstylist my life was very miserable and sad, I was abused by customers, bosses, and co-workers too. I’ve learned to go high when people try to pull you down! Being the better person always wins! I hope to share my story to the world when I make it BIG many people have told me that I inspire them to work hard and keep the faith!Never Give Up On Yourself!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Well… I love shopping I’m a sucker for fashion I’ve been this way all my life! I would go Santa Monica there’s a lot great shopping to get into! Along with some very good restaurants I love crab and I also love cosmos too! I’m a sucker for the beach vibe you can relax and enjoy the best of Los Angeles! Last year I treated myself to a season pass at an amusement park I had so much fun, although I was alone. I took time to enjoy me while screaming my head off on those rides!
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Yes! I’m always grateful for the people that believed in me…I would like thank Cameron Crowe (Director) he calls me his “Super Star” what a honor two have him in my life as a supportive mentor! He discovered me as a actress and I was also told by him that I have the “IT” factor in Hollywood! What a honor to be recognized by a two time Oscar winner!
