We had the good fortune of connecting with Rachel Medina and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rachel, how does your business help the community?

We give women the tools and support they need to succeed when building a business from home. Helping them ditch the corporate commute and keep more money circulating in their local communities, is just one of many perks.

SHE,EOO,OOO is an online platform for women that was inspired by the outpouring from listeners of the Rachel Unpacked podcast, wanting coaching and guidance on their home-based, entrepreneurial journey.

Empowering women and mothers a-like, to generate income from home, means that they will be free to show up for themselves, their children and their communities in ways that they may not have deemed possible before.

Even for those who aren’t sure what type of business they want to start, the SHE,EOO,OOO platform allows women to explore all the ways they can make money from home, in this economy and with today’s technology. Then we hand select and curate how-to videos and guides from our favorite creators and experts, to help them go from concept to creation.

The SHEconomy is here to stay and I am all in on showing women what’s possible, and how they can get further faster!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?

One key ingredient of the she,eoo,ooo mission is that women will no longer need to feel alone on their entrepreneurial, work from home journey. Whether they’re wanting to build an online store or explore ways to make money with platforms they already know, like and trust, such as Etsy, Pinterest, Amazon, TikTok, and more, the Rachel Unpacked podcast and the she,eoo,ooo platform, is here for them every step of the way.

Whether it’s our C.O.O. Daneen San Pedro sharing an inspirational video or me answering questions in a live AMA across our platforms, we are driven by helping women see and believe that if they can think it, then they can do it!

By creating an environment filled with educational and inspirational content, resources, tools and encouragement, we are essentially providing everything we wish we had when we first started. Plus, we hand select and curate the expert content so our members don’t need to get lost in endless “how 2” searches on YouTube and google.

In addition, we have special guest experts share their tips, tricks and key resources with the women in our community. And with the social feature of the she,eoo,ooo member’s only platform, women can cheer each other on in the comment section of one of our many business topic areas.

We are all in this together – may as well have fun doing it!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.

Where do I begin! Being spoiled with great weather, the only challenge with planning a day trip out here is narrowing down all the fantastic options.

Personally, I love being on the water, so starting the day on a duffy in the harbor or on an ocean charter to watch the dolphins and whales is a big win!

From there, catching a seaside lunch at Vessel or spending the day in Balboa Park, enjoying the sites on the trolley is also a fun way to bridge the gap between day and night. But once the sun sets, the Gaslamp district is always an interesting and entertaining place to explore.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?

Teamwork makes the dream work as they say, and my entrepreneurial journey is no different. My philosophy is that when you are building a business, don’t just ask yourself what people bring to the table. Instead, get great at identifying those who can help you build the table.

It’s important to surround ourselves with people who are supportive on your journey, headed in a similar direction or have been where you’re looking to go. I’m blessed to have two amazing women on this ride with me; Daneen San Pedro, C.O.O. of she,eoo,ooo and Delia Monarch, Co-Host of the YDFL Podcast. These ladies aren’t just talented, they’re also great sounding boards who help make even the most challenging of moments – fun!
