Hi Phil, what is the most important factor behind your success?
LOVE is what our business (and life) is all about! I fell in LOVE with Crystals when I was 7 years old. I know that many children are drawn to discover CRYSTALS when we’re young…I think it’s because we’re close to the earth as children! Beads, Crystals and More has become one of the most successful BEAD & CRYSTAL businesses because beads represent our human experience – people from all countries for thousands of years have ADORNED ourselves with beads…often they’re made of crystals and gemstones! If you travel anywhere on earth people are drawn to the BEAUTY and ENERGY of CRYSTALS and the JOY of wearing jewelry and beads! Beads, Crystals and More is known for having the BEST QUALITY and providing caring service. We LOVE what we do and LOVE sharing it with you!
We practice generosity and give back to help others….when the war broke out in Ukraine we began making blue & yellow bracelets….we donated 100% of the cost of the beads and every $ from each sale….we raised thousands of dollars to help aid those in need….donated to World Central Kitchen and Doctors Without Borders

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I had a spiritual experience & discovered my LOVE of CRYSTALS when I was 7. Spirit spoke to me as a child and crystals were a gift from God. I’ve loved them and studied these amazing crystals ever since. BEADS came into my life when I was only 15 when I saw my first antique Venetian Chevron bead in a shop on the Boardwalk in Seaside Heights NJ. The old bead had wear and patina and style and artistic energy that changed my life! I began studying and realized that BEADS are the oldest human art form! Almost every culture, country and tribe on earth for the past 100,000 years have enjoyed adorning ourselves with these tiny, shiny, sometimes large and amazing pieces of stone, glass, metal and bone with a hole in the middle for a piece of string or chain to go through and hang around our necks!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
LOL – of course I’d take them to our home and feed them some of Valeri’s DELICIOUS food! Her meals & treats are filled with LOVE! We’d go to the San Diego Zoo and Safari Park to visit with our animal friends! A trip to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas would make us smile! Visiting the Self Realization Gardens and Temple would fill us with a sense of peace and calm. Perhaps a concert at Humphrey’s by the Bay to hear some great music! A week filled with LOVE, great food, animals and nature – what could be better! Oh yes – a trip to Beads, Crystals and More in Vista to share our passion and joy!

I credit my Mom and Dad for their love and encouragement! I’ve been successful in life because of what they taught me and how I applied it to my business. CARING for people & giving my best. We treat our customers and visitors like our family! My wife Valeri has been my LOVE and inspiration for half my life and I’m TRULY BLESSED to have her unwavering support. She’s the most compassionate life partner I could have asked for! GRATEFUL for it all…..
