We had the good fortune of connecting with OLIVER LASTNAME and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi OLIVER, what is the most important factor behind your success?
I believe the most important factor about my success as an artist and creator of YFLNM, a weekly radio show designed to make personal development social through entertainment and conversation is our consistency. We have a path, we know our oath and we’re moving in that direction as we service people that look and sound like us in cities around the world.

What should our readers know about your business?
My company is called FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE PEOPLE, a personal development company making personal development social through entertainment and conversation. What I’m most proud of is the transformation that has come from our customers, family and friends using our products, services and events.

The hardest part about it all has been not giving up in times when everything seems to be falling a part – it’s overcoming those moments that has made a difference in where we are versus where we could have been.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
This happened recently so I’m excited to share. First and foremost, I gotta take you to Griffith Park for a morning hike and to see the Hollywood Sign. After that, we gotta hit Ventura BLVD for lunch. They have the best restaurants in the city — hands down. And then to wrap the night, if it’s a Monday, you know we DTLA with it at Moonflower Mondays at The Falls Lounge.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I want to shout out my girlfriend, Court Moves who is also my right hand when it comes to ideas and fulfillment through FOR PEOPLE WHO LOVE PEOPLE, YFLNM and music and film projects. Also want to shout out my son, Ocean who is a brilliant musician, thinker and the reason I wake up for the last ten years.
