Meet Naomi Slater | Intimacy & Relationship Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Naomi Slater and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Naomi, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The reason I started my business was because of my own struggles with maintaining the passion in my relationship. Although my partner and I started out hot and heavy, after our second child we were fighting more and I had lost my libido.
I was struggling with chronic candida and burnout. We had to work on ourselves separately and together, exploring traumas, blocked energy and patterning in order to be able to come together authentically. Through honoring oursleves as sexual beings, we were we able to open up sexually and emotionally to each other and experience the higher energetics of lovemaking.
My journey of healing through exploring sexuality is what led me to start my business. I realized that the knowldege I had acquired is very needed in this world!
Doing this work is my heart’s passion and my destiny.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am a spiritual guide and transformational facilitator. I work with Tantric knowledge and energies combined with modern psychoanalytic tools and embodiment practices to help my clients transform their lives and relationships. It is through these tools that I guide my clients into deeper self-awareness, sensitivity and presence. My mission is to support others as they step into their full passion, pleasure and power so that they can live fulfilled lives.
I have worked with hundreds of clients worldwide through live courses, online courses and individual sessions. I am the creator and facilitator of my signature 3-month online course “Awaken Your Desire” for women that has transformed the lives of many and have recently developed a 6-week online course for couples called “Divine Couples”.
I started my business when I was coming out of the ashes of a very difficult period of my life. I felt that all that was left was to be who I am. There was no fear of failure or self-doubt present – there was only pure determination and passion to get my message and knowledge out into this world. It was not easy – but it was extremely gratifying to finally give my authentic voice full expression. Through this experience I have learned that we each have unique gifts to give in this world – but often our fears get in the way of our full expression.
If there is one lesson I have learned – it is to BE WHO YOU ARE. No one else on this planet is exactly like you – and that is something to cherish. The world needs YOUR authentic voice – NOT the muted, self-conscious, fearful version of you. In order to actually be you requires some work – you need to remove energetic blockages, cultural programming and get in touch deeply with you energy and sexuality. Our sexuality is a key element to understanding who we are authentically.
Most importantly, I am a wife to Navot and a mother to our three children. That has been the most gratifying, difficult and love-filled journey of my life. It is through the triumphs and struggles of being a devoted mother and wife in combination with my spiritual journey that have made me who I am. My unique journey as both a householder and Tantra facilitator is what informs all of my work.
I am one of the few Tantra coaches that is in a long-term relationship with children. I teach from my own personal experience and knowledge that I have aquired from various gurus over the past 2o years. I guide others with my whole heart and have dedicated my life to helping others in their quest for fulfillment.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love walking around the La Jolla cove area – I also like sitting on the grass and watching the world go by.
I would take them to Tourmaline beach for a swim and surf.
I love eating at Peace Pies – when I was detoxing and on a raw vegan diet – this was one of the only places I could eat.
I would definately have them check out Trilogy Sanctuary for good food and interesting events/music/classes.
We would have a hike at Torrey Pines – one of the most beautiful spots in California.
I would also take them to the San Diego zoo.
Walking around Coronado is also always fun – we would go eat gelato at Gelato Paradiso ;).
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Mimi Fuenzalida, my dear friend, client and photographer. I worked with her and her partner, helping them to improve their intimacy and sex life. She later photographed us and captured some of the most beautiful shots of me and my partner. She is incredibly talented and was able to make me feel comfortable enough to capture some very authentic shots of me.
