We had the good fortune of connecting with Moustapha Berjaoui and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Moustapha, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
To be come a great magician you need to have the creative side in your career, I always loved DIY and creating magical effects so doing something that I Enjoy for a career is amazing!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve always been passionate magic, films and Photography. Since i was a kid I’ve always wanted to look and stand out different from the rest of people, Magic always gave me that spark to dabble and think in creative way.

What sets me apart from others, is I’ve always loved DIY and always love challenges, thats why I always like to learn new crafts and hobbies, which i can adapt in my own shows. This also pushed me out there to the community as a magic creator / consultant. for the past 3 years I started consulting and creating magic for some of the top magicians. which is something that I’m very proud of. seeing my own creations performed by the top guys in the industry.

I took me 18 years to be what I’m today, and I’m always working on improving and developing my skills it never stops.

I learned that there are so many bad people out there that they don’t want you to succeed, they will always steal your hard work, ideas and even your style, but always keep pushing forward and do it for your own self if you love what you do then keep pushing forward. They will never have your creative brain so they will never develop and push what they do forward.

I want the world to know about me. I would love to have a legacy out there when I’m gone.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would defiantly show them around the country not just the area where I’m in. here is a quick plan for a week if someone vistis me:

first 3 days in cairo, pyramids, nile cruise, old market. then go to have some oriental Egyptian street food. (koshari, Foul & Falafel) night life, going to parties, or chilling in cafe they can try the Shisha (Egyptian Hookah) if they smoke.

the other 3 days can take them to other cities, for example the red sea, we have the sinai which is magical, the beaches are amazing great for diving, there is also the Siwa oasis which is magical aswell.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would to give a shoutout to those guys: Abdallah Saleh, Charley Breaka, Ehab Azab, and Kamal Rizk. Those guys always been there from day 1. They are the real OG’s, true meaning of friendship always supporting and helping me a lot.
