Meet Michael A Ramos | Student of life & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Michael A Ramos and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Michael A, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
Finding ways to play like when I was kid, being grateful, being present in the moment, continuous growth and progression.

What should our readers know about your business?
R.M.B, Inc is a unique business that was created after I came to a point in my my career where I felt like I was going through the motions living paycheck to paycheck and working 7 days a week. I had been a barber for about 6 years at this point and I was considering changing careers. I was presented with an opportunity to open a new barbershop by my father and I told myself if I’m going to do this again I’m going to do things completely different and not create a Service that is more personalized, focused on Quality, Education, Friendliness and Cleanliness. I began to educate myself by paying for classes and watching other professional in my industry that had what I wanted. I began to read books, finance, communication and personal development. I read this Quote in one of those books that has stuck with me since then. It Says “if you always try to find a way to Do More, Offer More and Be More, you will find yourself being Worth More”. What makes us different is that were here to serve our community, build relationships, help people find their own style and build their own personal confidence. I got where I am today by working harder on myself than I do on my Job and building relationships that have contributed to my version of success. Overcoming challenges is about mindset, when we deal with challenges they are only preparing us to become the person we need to be to get to the next level. I try to look for the positive and the lesson in every experience whether It be good or bad and I choose to focus on what could go right instead of what could go wrong. the only way we fail is if we decide to give up there’s always a way. Our Brand is bout changing how they feel in a positive way.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to Old town to eat at some of the restaurants like 1909, Be Good, Havana Kitchen, Espadin and The Gambling Cowboy at night we would go enjoy the night life like Luke’s on Front street, Baileys, Speakeasy at Crush & Brew and at Devilicious, Coin Op. One of the days I would take them to the wineries to enjoy the wine and the country at Wilson Creek, Botalla, and some of the other wineries there. Another day we would go to Pechanga have some fun, eat and enjoy their pool. If they golf we would go to one of the golf courses in town like TCI of Journey at Pechanga. We would also visit some of the breweries like 8Bit and BlackMarket. we would also plan a hike, go rock-climbing, go bowling or go to the billiards.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I’d like to dedicate my shoutout to my first love, first mentor, my mother (Amparo Prado De Ramos), if it was for her struggle to provide me with a better life, the opportunities she gave and her belief in me. I would not be the man I am today or have the freedom to go after what I want in life.
