We had the good fortune of connecting with Megan Wilson and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Megan, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I loved the notion that our thoughts create our reality, it felt both empowering and terrifying to have that much power. Dr. Joe Dispenza said something that really intrigued me, “People think 60,000 – 70,000 thoughts per day, and 90% of those thoughts are the same as yesterday.”
So my main focus became centered around answering 2 questions:
How can we truly move the needle in living better lives by thinking better thoughts?
Then how can I make it easy to use on a daily basis?
I had a favorite life coaching exercise that I always used with clients to help them reframe their fears and concerns into empowered clarity which answered part 1.
The answer to the second question came to me during a meditation (the benefits of stilling the mind are huge!) The guidance I received was to have the clients record themselves speaking with newly empowered clarity so they could hear their own voices. Then I had background music for them to choose from and I created their “Anthem”. A customized soundtrack to listen to daily to “Activate” their focus and intention.
The results the clients created in their lives were incredible and still amaze me.
Knowing how truly powerful we can be when we put our mind(set) to it inspired me. I felt called to create a unique resource to help people access their own power and the possibility of what could be.
What should our readers know about your business?
In one aspect of my business, I guide my clients in creating customized soundtracks with a focus on the positive outcomes they desire in their lives. By listening to their “Anthems” on a daily basis, they align their focus with what matters most instead of what could go wrong. They elevate their own energy and life rewards them with synchronicities that align with their desires.
I also have an event called Spiritual Pep Rally where I share what common threads I see in my life and with my clients and it always seems to resonate with the audience. I lead a guided meditation and I always have a live performance afterward because as a former Las Vegas Showgirl (who used to wear the big headdresses and danced in shows on the Strip) I love watching and supporting live art. Sometimes it’s a contemporary dancer, painter, singer, or musician. It’s a really beautiful way to let people shift their focus from an internal one (meditative) to back into the room.
I am 1 of 4 coaches for the Elevated Entrepreneur Collective – Mindset and Spirituality
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Metaphysical fun would be – A Full moon ceremony and breath work session with Crystal Keath Entertainment fun would be going to dinner and a show at The Mayfair at Bellagio
Hiking at Red Rock if it’s not 110 degrees otherwise, we would head up to Mount Charleston (30 min from the Strip where it’s always way cooler because of elevation)
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shout-out to Liz Landeen for being an inspiration and for creating the Elevated Entrepreneur Collective. I was looking for a like-minded and inspiring community of female entrepreneurs and the Universe introduced me to Liz not long after. She wanted to create a high-vibe community for women in the first few years of their entrepreneurial journey and support them in a unique way so they had the support that we wish we had when we began.
It always amazes me when collaborations come together so beautifully. The growth and the connection have been so fulfilling and more than I ever could’ve imagined. I’m grateful she brought me on as one of the coaches, I am continually inspired by this group.
