Meet Mark Carneiro | Risk taker

We had the good fortune of connecting with Mark Carneiro and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Mark, what role has risk played in your life or career?
Well, for the past year or so I’ve been taking risks. It all started on April 18th, 2021 when I created a YouTube channel, while I was finishing my fourth year in college. I was more focused and motivated to succeed with YouTube then I was with my classes. I ended up withdrawing from my classes that semester and just went all the way on YouTube. I spent around a year trying to grow in there, but it wasn’t changing. I started to think that maybe I made a mistake dropping out of collage. I then stopped making videos for a little while. Started reaching out to different tiktokers and YouTubers. This tiktoker named Keemokazi has been responding to be on numerous occasions and we even ended up meeting up in Cali to discuss being his cameraman! With that I leave it in gods hands 🙌🏼 And now just recently I got back into making videos on Tiktok. Future will be interesting and only time will tell if my risk of dropping out of college will pay off!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Right now I’m all about taking risks in what I’m pursing as an influencer. I dropped out of college at age 23 and now at age 24 I’m doing whatever it takes to make it as a content creator. So, far it’s not easy, but then again nothing in life is easy. I have god guiding forward and pushing me towards the right direction. I’ve been communicating with different influencers and one in particular named Keemokazi. I’m trying to be his cameraman and like I’ve said many times only god knows what will happen! As of now though, the one thing I would like the world to know about me is that I don’t give up!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well, since I’m a big football(soccer) fan. I would 100% take them to a live game or even go to a sports bar to watch it! Personally I’m a google maps guy, so I would just look up different places and go from there.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would say that my older brother Nuno who has definitely helped motivate me and give me that extra push to do what makes me happy. He supports any decisions that I make, but also gives me advice on going about it the right way!
