Hi Mario, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
Hi, my name is Mario Salazar and I am the owner of Lux Club Worx PDR (Paintless Dent Repair.) Show me the dents!

The methods we use to repair vehicle dents, the paintless way, is so beneficial to society and the environment. We do this by avoiding the need for sanding, adding body fillers, primers and repaint. This can be done by using special hand tools inserted through factory access points to push from inside a panel or with special PDR glue and pulling gadgets to work the dent from outside the panel when access is limited. We use our pushing, pulling, knocking down and blending techniques to carefully resculp the metal back to its most original shape, all while keeping your original parts and paint. This is a more efficient and less invasive method of repair, (when applicable) that also preserves the value of your vehicle. The best part of it all is that there is no need to store you vehicle for prolonged periods of time, like in a traditional body shop. Usually repairs are completed the same day and hassle-free.

There is no doubt that repairing dents is an art and doing it to a fine level. PDR is definitely not an easy route and is not for everyone. It requires a lot of patience, attention to detail, precision, finess, mental strength, business proactivity, people skills, and the list goes on! When starting off, no one knows who you are and that is a hurtle that takes some time to overcome, and it is always a work in progress. Staying focused and always working to become better than yourself is the way to overcome the struggles encountered. It’s a really big mental game. Master getting over the hurtles with you mind and your physical body will follow.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of my favorite spots and activities to do in San Diego are simple, layed back and yet fun. Taking a walk, a hike and a swim at the beach is always great and refreshing. Balboa park has relaxing sights and there are free museum admissions every Tuesday. The golf range is fun and a good way to de-stress alone or with good company. There is great food all over town with a variety of cultural influences, like, Plumeria in University Heights, Underbelly in North Park, Sushi House in Chula Vista, GK Grill in Bonita Mall, Tijuanazo Tacos in Hillcrest and many other places.

In recognition of my success story, I would like to thank my family’s unwavering support through thick and thin, fine colleagues I have met along the way that have welcomed me in the industry and poured their knowledge and experience on me and the will to keep persevering even when things get tough.
