Meet Maiyte Marin | Photographer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Maiyte Marin and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Maiyte, what habits do you feel play an important role in your life?
The habits that have helped me succeed are consistency, reflection, and staying grounded. I make sure to show up fully even when things feel difficult because consistency builds trust and momentum. I also take time to reflect, whether through journaling or creative work, which helps me process experiences and make thoughtful decisions. I make it a point to stay grounded by capturing natures healing through photography. These habits keep me balanced, resilient, and motivated to keep growing.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
My art is rooted in nature and the healing it offers. Through Eternal Edge Photography, I focus on capturing images that bring calm, grounding, and emotional connection into homes and spaces. What sets me apart is that I don’t just take photographs, I create pieces that are meant to be lived with, that remind people of their own strength and stillness. I am most proud that my work blends beauty with a meaning. Each piece carries both my story and the energy of the places I photograph. It was not an easy path, there were times of loss and self doubt, but those challenges shaped my vision. Photography became not just an art form but also a way of healing, for myself and for others. Along the way, I have learned the importance of staying true to my purpose, being patient with growth, and trusting that what is authentic will resonate with the right people. What I want the world to know about my brand and story is that Eternal Edge Photography is more than decor. It is about connection, healing, and remembering that we are part of nature. My art invites people to pause, breathe, and feel at home within themselves.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visiting for a week, I would start with nature. We would spend a day finding waterfalls in the San Bernardino mountains or the San Gabriel mountains, pausing to hug a tree and taking in the stillness of the forest. For sunsets, we would head to a San Diego beach where the sky feels endless and the waves wash all the stress and negativity away. Food would be a mix of local gems and special experiences. Breakfast at a cozy spot, tacos from a place only locals know, and at least one night having dinner by the ocean while we talk and laugh. I would definitely take them to Laguna Beach to wander through the art galleries and feel the creative energy there. By the end of the week, I would want them to feel the peace of the mountains, the magic of the ocean, and the creativity of the art scene. I would want them to experience the same sense of healing, and connection that makes me love this place so much.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would dedicate my shoutout to my family, especially my son. Their love and encouragement have been my greatest motivation, and my son continues to inspire me to grow and create. They have shaped my journey and truly deserve recognition.
