Meet Madison Myers | Professional Organizer & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Madison Myers and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Madison, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
Hi there! My name is Madison Myers and I am a professional organizer. I have loved all things cleaning, organizing and decor since I was a young girl. It was just recently though when I ventured to turn those interests into a business. Tiny Tidy Home was born at the start of 2022 when I got engaged! After getting engaged, I moved into our apartment first to get everything all squared away and ready for after we got married. It was my first time living in a small apartment and I had to learn how to be creative with small spaces and very minimal storage. This led me to really tap in to my organizational skills and think creatively for each space! I realized how much I truly loved making a space both beautiful AND functional and decided to help others just like me! People who need help figuring out storage solutions, navigating small spaces and making their space one that they love. I have been able to help people with both small and large spaces and turn it into a space that puts their mind at ease and allows for optimal functionality! Create your dream space today!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love sharing my story, because I feel like it is relatable to most. I have had so many dreams and ambitions but I always thought that it would never become anything so I didn’t pursue them. That is what I have found to be people’s greatest mistake. Never trying. I would rather try and fail than never try and be left with the feeling of, “What If?” That question can go both ways. What if I fail? Well, what if you don’t?! What if your idea or business is a great success?! That is the question to be asking yourself. When I finally went for what I dreamed about, that is when I found true contentment. It is so true when people say, “Do what you love and you won’t feel like you’ve worked a day in your life.” There is no harm in pursuing your natural talents and skills, God gave you those for a reason! I want people to know that they are capable and talented individuals. With some hard work and determination, almost anything is possible if you set your mind to it (yes, I sound like the pep talks all of our moms gave us!). Now don’t misinterpret this either, there will be many downs, many failures, many doubters, many moments where you will feel like you shouldn’t continue…do not let that stop you. If I can give you one piece of advice, I would say consistency is key. It truly is. Remaining consistent and not giving in to the negative thoughts is the greatest favor you can do for yourself. I have had to push through those exact thoughts and I still am currently working on building my business, but what I won’t do is give up. We (you and I) CAN do this!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
San Diego has my heart! I have been born and raised here and I would like to think I know some of the best spots! Especially food spots! My husband and I are absolute foodies (follow our @foodiefrenzyofficial page for all the San Diego foodie spots!) Some of our favorite food spots are GEN KBBQ (Mira Mesa), Tacos El G (excellent tacos in National City), Tajima (the best ramen in town). If you’re looking for a more unique experience, we love Bernardo Winery Kitchen located in Poway. They have the most amazing wood fired pizza and delectable homemade pasta dishes. For dessert, I would highly recommend Somi Somi and Sultan Baklava for unique desserts! Last but not least (I could ramble about food all day long), is our favorite drink spots….anything boba! We love Kung Fu Tea, Good Moments or Share Tea for a sweet boba drink. Moving on to places to visit! San Diego has some of the most beautiful scenery. I would of course recommend our beaches if you are visiting in the summer time. La Jolla Cove, Sunset Cliffs or Coronado Beach have some of the most breath taking views! Fun fact: My husband proposed at Coronado Beach! If it’s a colder month, I would recommend Julian or even Idyllwild for a blissful cabin getaway (my family loves doing this for Thanksgiving)! Balboa Park is a history rich venue with a botanical garden and Japanese Friendship Garden! Lastly, our wedding venue, Summers Past Farms is located in Lakeside and it has an adorable outdoors cafe with a rustic shop that sells homemade soaps and decor and is surrounded by a beautiful garden oasis. Hope this gives you a small glimpse in to beautiful San Diego!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I have been blessed by so many along this crazy journey! God has definitely had His hand upon Tiny Tidy Home! As cliche as it sounds, my family truly is my biggest support! I want to thank my wonderful husband, Jordan and my amazing parents for always encouraging me to stay the course and to not give up! Consistency is key when starting a business! I can’t wait to see how Tiny Tidy Home continues to grow and flourish and help make the lives of others better!
