We had the good fortune of connecting with Luiz Lopes Da Fonseca Neto and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Luiz, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When i first thought about starting my wedding video business, I took a look on other people videos and I kind felt the videos look pretty much the same and without emotions or anything to capture our attention, so then I came with the name idea Out of The Box, where I do my wedding films in a different way of the other traditional films, focused on the hype moments of the day

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I’m a wedding videographer passionate about telling real, cinematic love stories with a modern, upbeat vibe. What sets me apart is how I capture the energy and emotion of the day while thinking outside the box — always aiming to make each couple feel like the stars of their own film. It wasn’t always easy getting here, but I kept learning, evolving, and trusting my creative vision. I want people to know that my brand is all about connection, authenticity, and turning memories into timeless art.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
San diego has different vibes at the same city haha, I always like to take my friends to Ocean Beach to check the farmers market and the drums circle, try the food at the farmers market or a burger at hoddads. Another nice spots are the Hellen Scripts Pier, La Jolla Cove and the Sunset at Windensea Beach.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Seoud was my friend that helped me a lot on my journey as videographer, Stormie was my friend that gave me the opportunity to do my first wedding and also Maria Alexander
