Hi Looking West, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
Everything we do in life is work of some kind or another. So, it really comes down to whether the work you are doing is worth it or not. Your heart will guide you. If you are still able to find the fun, keep going!

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
We are a young band from Ventura, California, who are starting our journey as a group of professional musicians.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
We would take them to spend the day at Emma Wood State Beach in Ventura! Then we would follow it up with a visit to Spencer Mackenzie’s for the best fish tacos around and visit to Topa Topa Brewing Co. for great atmosphere for drinks and live music. On another day, we might stop at Grady’s Record Store in Midtown Ventura because they offer such a great selection. The Ventura Pier is always a great local spot for views and it is where they hold the Surf Rodeo Music Festival, an annual tradition. Channel Islands Kayak Center can help you charter out to the Channel Islands for an unforgettable day trip or rent you a kayak to explore on your own. There are so many great places to visit in Ventura. It is a great place to visit and an even better place to grow up.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
JD Drury and the rest of the crew from Surf Rodeo Music Festival in Ventura. These guys have welcomed us into their musical circle and treated us really well. It all started out with their own teenage band, Raging Arb and the Redheads, back in the day and has grown into a whole community of musicians supporting other musicians. They gave us our first large festival show opportunity.
