We had the good fortune of connecting with Logan Morgan and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Logan, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
Taking a risk will 100% be scary and unsettling. Taking that risk there are so many opportunities for success on the other side of that initial leap. Me leaving Ohio to drive out here to SoCal was just one example from my own journey, so many new doors and networking opportunities have been opened just by taking that unsettling risk.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Yes I am a barber but to me my career is more than just a basic job cutting hair. To me it’s about the experience you provide for clients all around, not treating everyone as just a number, really enabling you to not only creatively express yourself but also building solid relationships with people in society. I feel like holding this mindset has really set me aside to being more myself and standing out to people, building further respect and deeper connections through my clients as well.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
San Diego is an amazing city as a whole for sure, but, some of my personal favorite spots would definitely have to be sunset cliffs as number 1. Wind & Sea beach is another top spot for me, just being able to relax in peace and take my pup over by the waves without too much commotion. There are many food spots that I still have yet to checkout but when it comes to cuisine for me you can’t go wrong with the many taco shops around our city, great authentic food right at the roots. Not everything has to be super flashy for enjoyment in americas finest city!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shoutout would be dedicated to two people. The first person being my mother who has always pushed me to be outside the box, to take risks, and branch out into being my own person creating the life I wanted for myself. She always made me feel worthy of living that different, better life for myself, pushing me to really jump out into the world and explore.
