We had the good fortune of connecting with Lee Adrian and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lee, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Believing in God. With the faith of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Without God, nothing that I do is possible. I am a walking representation of faith.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I must be crazy as shit. But, I live by a motto: “Find a way or make one”. I’ve always been the type of person that wasn’t fond of the rat race. So I decided after I lost my job in 2016, I would never work for anyone besides myself ever again. I was able to create Nomadics Studios, the first of its kind studio B&B. But, it was nothing but easy. The most difficult decision I’ve mad so far has been to pack up all of my things and drive across the country to believe in a career and start a business that I never thought would prosper the way it is. With the faith of a mustard seed, you can move mountains. Without God, nothing that I do is possible.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Shout out to my best friend Terrance, Khalil, and Mohammad. These people have been with me through thick and thin. We would first go hiking at Runyon Canyon, play basketball at 24 hour fitness, head to the liquor store, pregame, and hit the Xperience LA event, hosted and created by my good friend Kudy, all while indulging on some fine greenery.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have mentors, such as my business partner Ted Willman (Co Owner of Aura Spots & FireAlley Cafe) who has inspired me to keep a schedule of activities. Balancing the studio, my music career, and acting along with working out and other extracurricular activities, I have created a system that works for me. Additionally, without the support from family, friends, and prayer, I would not be where I am today.
