Meet Leanna Friedman | Owner De La Beuh Body

We had the good fortune of connecting with Leanna Friedman and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Leanna, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
My goal was to create alternative bath and body products aid in healing the mind and body. I wanted to start this woman owned line to help inspire other woman to create their own identity by using a creative mind. Coming from a family with a history of skin problems, and having an autoimmune disease of the skin myself, I knew skincare products would benefit my family and peers.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I started this CBD company in 2014 which was ahead of the trends. I wanted to create natural self-care products that could help people relax and free themselves of their everyday stresses. We have gone through many loopholes and challenges, being a CBD company. Although all of our products are fully legal, they are not supported by many advertisers. This can make it difficult to get our products to the people who are in need of them. We have overcome these challenges and grown rapidly with the support of our community. We involve ourselves with many community events and organizations, which has helped us grow to where we are today. As we continue growing, we promise to keep putting out solid high-quality products that aid in healing. We are very proud that our products are vegan and never tested on animals. We also always use the best organic ingredients we can find!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to dedicate my success to my family, who helped me start this company. They are always helping guide me to success and helping to support my dreams.
