We had the good fortune of connecting with Lavender Fields and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Lavender, what do you think makes you most happy? Why?
What makes me happy is knowing that my creative works effect people in the most positive and uplifting way. If I can produce a piece of music that brings people sincere joy, it makes me feel accomplished. Every day is a journey to purify my intentions and keep unwavering vision alive in my heart. “Light Up The World” is a motto that circulates throughout all of my creations and returns back to my heart with so much gratitude and joy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
My music focuses on uplifting a listener, bringing positivity and joy. I’m pretty excited about the last 3 songs I’ve written, they seem to be deep and conscious. I’m planning on releasing them on October 3rd of 2020 as an EP titled “Jupiter”. Staying focused on your purpose and mission despite the roadblocks is an every day challenge, for sure. As well as keeping peace of mind while navigating this reality. Yet every challenge carries within a great lesson from which we learn and evolve in life. I appreciate the journey and all the lessons learnt. I found that it’s important to value your own life without comparing it to others. Each of us has their own unique and beautiful path and learning to recognize it brings so much peace.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I am a total nature freak so I would definitely take them to some beautiful nature spots around. Probably camping in Joshua Tree park, visiting Deep Creek hot springs, camp on the beach, take hikes and go whale watching.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My shout out goes to an amazing guitarist and long time friend Aaron Dugan. Aaron helped me to record my very first songs and was such an incredible guide during the first baby steps on my songwriting journey. I have seen Aaron play on the biggest stages of the world and his humbleness and dedication to music never seizes to inspires me. True lover of music!
