We had the good fortune of connecting with Laura Wolfe and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Laura, how do you think about risk?
I think about the idea that it’s better to try and learn from your mistakes than wonder what if. Also that failure isn’t to be feared because you either win or learn. You never know it could be great!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I have two professions. I am a Flight Attendant on private jets and a Real Estate agent. I think this makes me well rounded. Both are competitive fields and I got to where I am in both by having grit and confidence. Both have helped me fine tune my communication and service abilities. I got into real estate when I bought my own house and after experiencing the process felt like I would be good at it. I got in to being a Private Jet Flight Attendant when I got the idea of it being a great way to see the world and put myself through the training courses. I then went to every FBO and found every company I could think of to give my resume to until someone hired me. That was a bit risky as it is so competitive but it paid off. What makes me excited about being a Flight Attendant is all the travel that I have done (34 countries so far). Studying to complete my Broker’s License has made me excited about growing my real estate business.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My best friend and I are both in to fitness so we would do some hikes like Iron Mountain and Devil’s Punch bowl. We would do some yoga classes at Corepower and runs at Sunset Cliffs and the Mission Bay Boardwalk. I’m into 2-Stepping and line dancing so we would go out to Moonshine Flats on Thursday night and Moonshine Beach on Tuesday night. My favorite restaurant by where I live in Ramona is called Marinade on Main from there we would visit some local Ramona wineries.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My broker’s Jeff and Jan at Remax Direct have guided me and been a great support system. Also as I single mom I rely on my family and my kids Dad to keep everything working. I definitely didn’t do it alone!
