Hi King, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
1)I’ve always wanted to work for myself as well as create something the represented who I am to give my parts back to the world. I created it with the purpose of sending a message through my business. The message is to always F.L.Y. which mean to first love yourself. I believe everyone should learn and love themselves enough to have the courage to express who they are which is why I created my brand. Using my love for the creative arts and words I try to express a sense of imagery within our products associated with a words that will make you feel empowered i.e quotes and affirmations. Hopefully It’ll pick up and people get the message, I feel it’ll being back a sense of oneness to our way of thinking. 2)I think any business you’re going into people are unaware of the support. It comes from the most unexpected places. People also don’t take into consideration the amount of time it goes into building anything the loss of money, sleep, patience so many things you have to take into account. Particular in the field of a lifestyle brand and custom designs you have to be different and stand out from the crowd. You have to sell an experience to you audience. 3)Risk is necessary for evolving in life. If you take no risk I believe there can be no progress in life or in your career. It’s rare someone comes to you and say “ hey do you want to start a business or do you want a promotion.” It’s always risk involved in meeting people, buying things going places etc. I can buy food from my favorite restaurant and get food poisoning, heck its happened before . All in all I look as risk as part of life I make a point not to take unnecessary risk however if it looks like a potential gain I’m willing to Evil Knievel a bit. 4). The single most important decision I made was to become self-reliant and not depend on others to do any work for me. If that required paying professionals or learning the skill myself I made sure I could get it done. So independence and becoming resourceful with the people and things around me. Changing my mindset was also a big factor. 5).The most important factor behind my brand would be my catering to art as well as self-love. As my brand relatively new its still avenues in the market that I’ve yet to explore. Like marketing towards people who are going through depression, sick, victims of bullying, bullies right now my target audience is boroad local friends and family. So far the feed back is amazing and I’ve yet to incorporate my idea for an online art museum. 6) That’s a hard question I think I’m still in the process of making the decision. which is the way to live my life. 7) Honestly balance is everything to me in all areas of life. As far as work balance goes it’s been easier to maneuver as an entrepreneur because of Covid which changed my work schedule drastically. I’ve been able to focus more on building my brand and spending time with family. Though fun is one of the things I need to make more time for. I think balance is vital to have of anything too much of a good thing can be bad and not enough can kill you. 8)A quote I came up with is “Wear your heart out” which means to me is follow your heart and express your love until its worn out. Can you get worn out from love? I’m not sure but I like the fact that it can be applied to every area of life. You love basketball? play it until your heart is worn out. You love Food? cook to your heart in worn out. It’s an expression of wearing your heart on your sleeve. I can go on but the point is pretty clear, not to add its a pretty catchy phrase for a clothing brand. 9) I believe deep down that everyone has a form of creativity within them. We all have the ability to create and manifest our thoughts and desires. I personally believe my purpose is to help others achieve a sense of internal peace. I created my brand with that sole intent. I also write music, stories and have a book I’m currently working on. I also love being around create energy which is how my business partner and I bond over coming up with designs for or products. 10) I would like my legacy to define what it is to be yourself without fear of judgement. I want to be remember as someone who made a difference in a life whether it be something thought provoking or a feel good emotion. I want my brand to stand for self-love the comes from inner peace and knowledge that you are perfect. You don’t need exterior things to define who you are as a person only to enhance who you are.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Well, I’d say I’m far from where I’d like to be in my journey as far as owning a business and advancing my create talents in writing and music. I’m most excited about the journey and meeting people along the way as well as the growth I’ll recieve to my character. To get here I did a lot of reading, research, self-healing, had a ton of patience and perseverance. I don’t believe anything worth having comes easy. I’ve learned to be authentically me with no fear or shame I’ve learned that support comes from the oddest places, I’ve learned the more you show confidence and push yourself in any area the better you will become.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I live in a small town called the antelope valley where there isn’t much to do. However I would show them around locally take them to a few places with good views like the Devil Punch Bowl, Bouquet canyon. We’d definitely have to visit beaches as well as a few comedy clubs and local museums. I love seafood so we’d get a crab boil somewhere like hot and juicy catch a few concerts.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Too many to name first an foremost Dale Carnegie, Robert Greene, Contagious, How to get a meeting with anyone, think and grow rich, Eric Thomas, Tony Robbins, Grant, Les, Jay-z the list could go on. Most of all the love and support I get from my close family and friends.
