Meet Jovaunee Pierre | Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jovaunee Pierre and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jovaunee, can you share the most important lesson you’ve learned over the course of your career?
The most important lesson that I have learned is to remain patient and consistent. There are times when business is slow. However, I don’t fall back and take a break. I keep striving and putting energy and effort into my business as well as my goals.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Music is my passion. For as long as I can remember I always had a strong love for music. I love all genres and respect all artist because through music i feel connected. My music comes from my soul. I talk about my family, my children, my friends, my upbringing. Through years of practice I mastered my own sound and mixed and master all of my songs. My lasted Album You Wouldn’t Understand: Jovaunitos Way is one of my best works to date. It wasn’t easy getting to where I am today. However, I still have a long way to go.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
The best spot in the city would be Mission Beach. Down at Belmont Park where I actually use to do security work for. Great attractions, great food, and beautiful people.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to shout out my friends and family for supporting me and my goals. I’d like to shout out my parents for teaching me how to pursue my goals and never give up.
