We had the good fortune of connecting with Jose Marte and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jose, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
ever since i was a little boy I’ve always felt like i can be creative in many areas. starting off with my long baseball career . although baseball was my priority i would always have rap battles with my team mates and improvise and even impersonate big artist like arcangel,romeo santos and many other big artist.

turns out my passion for music grew more every day,

when i saw my baseball career getting closer and closer to the end i started thinking on how to develop a special gift that can position me and my family in a better place in life. I’ve always known that no matter what happened with baseball i was going to find a way to be great some how. so i prayed to GOD to show me something i can do, that will create a second chance for me. and little did i know it was always in front of me (MUSIC). so i started shifting torse becoming an artist and finding out what type of artist i wanted to be.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
well im from Dominican republic but born in NYC so im more on the Latin urban music lane, i have currently released DEMBOW native to my country DR. thankfully i have crafted my self to be comfortable in making and working with Regueton,Trap,pop,dancehall, among many other styles.

i can guaranteed that success and creating something that can completely change your life doesn’t come with a cheap price! so much sacrifices,dedication that you need to put in!

for me its been a hell of a ride!
so much,words cant describe!
but the journey continues and always know that
if your consistent with your vision and goal trust and believe you will see yours come!

i want to dedicate this space to a list of people that have always contribute in my personal life and music career starting of with GOD cause without him nothing is possible. my mom and father that have supported me in all my ventures . for my wife and kids for being my strength, support and hope.. and for my brother alar on the mix and my whole team for believing in me since day one . and to all my family members that at some point gave me a hand. love you all from the bottom of my heart .
