Hi John, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
We Pride ourselves on taking the time with each individual to provide an optimal personalized experience.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Gnarwall Surf Shop is a consignment model surf shop with a focus on the gear and goods riders need. Consignment allows for the shop to have a massive inventory to select from any moment, while supporting various parts of the community with each transaction made in shop. Combined with a mission to do right by every rider in every stage of their riding career, we take the time to find that perfect fit for everyone. Surfing can be a life long sport for any type of person.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Kailua is full of fun small business both for food and shopping. From the epic breakfast spots including: Cinnamons, Kopi Cafe, Over Easy and the Collective to name a few to the great lunch and dinner spots like Kalapawai Cafe, Baci Bistro, Nico’s, and Buzz’s; Kailua has great spots to eat. But most important, is the beach! Kailua beach is why we are here and it is the place to be.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Our shop is built to work in partnership with local board shapers who care about quality; Shapers like: Kim Purington, Danny Daniels, Joe Demarco, Danny O’Brien, Matty Raynor, and so many others as well.
