Hi Jasmine, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My thought process behind Ethical Body Care was to bring nature back into our daily self care ! Making clean , easy to read ingredients lists available to everyday people! No preservatives or chemicals just simple , natural ingredients. A Huge component to me starting Ethical Body Care was to become the brand that I always wanted ! This meant allowing the customer to get the inside scoop on what going on their bodies. And using my platform to make every body feel represented ! A safe space for all Body types , Genders , Race , Sexual Orientations & Cultures. Natural Ingredients , Transparency & Inclusivity is what Ethical Body Care takes pride in !

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I love to allow the customer full transparency ! They get to watch me make each product , and learn the benefit of each ingredient. This allows people to get inspired with what they have in their home! Bringing them connected to the earth through skin care! Making my products accessible to all is the main goal . I price things as reasonably as I can , have sales very frequently and also share my ingredients ! So no matter what your budget is you can still be a part of Ethical Body Care ! Another huge bonus about my products is that they are all multi functional ! My face serums can be used in bath or on body , face soaps can be used as feminine washes & body butters not only moisture but also help heal/prevent stretchmarks. The possibilities are endless ! Its also important for me to use reusable packaging , this helps reduce our human footprint that can easily get overlooked when referring to self care. I sage all my products with healing loving energy before they enter the homes of my customers. And I also use as much up-cycled /recycled shipping material as possible. For me Ethical Body Care does not mean perfect , it means trying our best !

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
San Diego has so much to offer ! I would start us off with some Fresh fruit bowels from Everbowl and eat them at Balboa Park ! Then a stroll by the water along Seaport Village. Maybe take some snacks on a hike to Torrey Pines & finish with a delicious dinner at The Yasai Vegan sushi !The rest of the week would be spent going to all the wonderful beaches & farmers markets , exploring local & family owned businesses. Farmers markets are my favorite ! I like to gather yummy groceries/ snacks for the week and leave their feeling proud of who Im giving my money to .From Fresh pressed juices – to Soul Much Cookies I have a blast and cant wait to share all my goodies !

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My Friends , Family & My Partner always believe in me ! They stay connected through social media & phone calls checking in on whats new. My Boyfriends mom is the owner of her own full service spa/salon called The UpperHand and since their family has been around the industry for years they always support me and remind me how possible it is to live out my dream ! I’m inspired to show my younger siblings that they can make their dreams come true whatever that means for them , the youth is our future ! Other women Entrepreneurs have inspired me along the way of corse .Its so powerful to create mentors for yourself and surround yourself with other powerful people wether that means in real life or just who you follow online, Rihanna is an ultimate Women Boss and one of my biggest influences on Ethical Body Care. When she launched her all inclusive make-up & lingerie I knew right away that was the standard of my company. Thank you to everyone who has supported Ethical Body Care ! whether its checking in on me on hard times , sharing my page with your friends or buying a product I assure you it means the world !
