We had the good fortune of connecting with Israel Isaac and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Israel, what do you attribute your success to?
The Success that has come out of my brand has all to do with my mindset and approach to friends over fans. When I began Showcasing my work, my friends were the ones to promote, get other people watching, listening and following me. They were and have always been the reasons why my projects have been successful! 

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My life has come with so many challenges and had set in so many insecurities that could’ve crumbled my dreams. I had to get to a point in my life that I was no longer letting my weaknesses own me but to then own my weaknesses and grow. As creatives we do get worried our people won’t like our content or that a project may fail but that’s when your faith has to kick in. We work so hard on content creating to fulfill a desire in our hearts and fear can make you look outward of what other people think and make you forget why you began the project in the first place. I have learned that every set back whether it be people calling out on your important projects deadlines, The challenge of working with people in general sometimes & projects not hitting as you had hoped is all apart of growing as a creative. When you decided to give up, you have lost. I enjoy making music, spreading positivity and inspiring the people around me and it keeps me going even when things do not go as planned. Keep Creating.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I have been in San Diego for about a year now and have gotten to go to some very exciting well known places. If you are wanting to enjoy an amazing sunset or even a picnic with friends, Kate o Sessions in PB is a great area for that. I’ve always enjoyed a night out in the city to eat and grab a drink with friends, so I love Gaslamp. There are Great restaurants, a strip to walk on and amazing scenery in the area.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to thank my High School Music educators for pushing me in the field of music beyond just the studies, but the passion & excitement within it. The many mentors that have come through my life at various times and have coached me through life as a creative and a Christ follower. I give thanks to God, where my drive. Faith and hope come through. God continues to give me the grace to do what I do!
