We had the good fortune of connecting with Imani Rae and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Imani, do you have a favorite quote or affirmation?
I am enough. In a world that has us constantly trying to prove ourselves, this affirmation is a remainder that no matter what I do, I am enough.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I become a tarot reader over a year and a half ago. I first fell in love with tarot when I was watching a YouTube video of tarot reader doing pick a card reading. I ordered my first tarot deck and started practicing. I started offering readings to people and then launched my website. It hasn’t been easy to balance but I love being able to help people everyday.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start my morning off getting some coffee and breakfast at better buzz. We would head to the beach to get some sun and do tarot readings in La Jolla. Then we would grab some food in Little Italy.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
My grandma, Mott constantly guides me in my journey. She is my guardian Angel and really helps me to connect.
