We had the good fortune of connecting with Hannah Safanda and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Hannah, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
My intention for my practice is to bring my clients into a deeper awareness within themselves. When one becomes aware of where their life may be out of balance, false beliefs they carry and unhealthy patterns that often have been played out in other lifetimes as well, they can choose to process, heal and release that which is not serving them. What is revealed underneath is the pure essence and love that they are, with greater wholeness, happiness and health. This is the goal of my offering of hands on energy work combined with Shamanic practices and wisdom from the higher spiritual realms. I am also passionate about meditation and plant based diets to further support you on your path.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
I will never forget the day my life’s path changed course dramatically. A close friend purchased us tickets for a sound bath meditation one evening in San Francisco. Reluctantly, I agreed to go. What was an hour and a half show felt like ten minutes. I had slipped away into a deep meditation. I left the show a little confused about what had happened but, I felt amazing. The amazing feeling began to fade over the next three days. To regain this feeling, I began a daily meditation practice. Fast forward six months and I began getting visits from my spirit guides during meditation. These guides have supported me through my own healing journey and eventually lead me to my trainings in energy healing and Shamanic work. Through this transformational work I have gone from a person who didn’t know herself, her needs, her blocked traumas, and lacking any spiritual connection (not knowing what I was missing), to a person deeply connected to herself, her intention for being here and full of love for herself and others. The path has not always been easy but the rewards are worth it. It is my pleasure to offer this sacred work to help others on their life’s Journey.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Living in the Marin County, there are many beautiful hiking trails. Tennessee Valley is a nice trail in the Marin Headlands that leads to a beach. Another beach we frequent is Limantour Beach which is part of Point Reyes National Seashore. It is a short trip into San Francisco where my favorite restaurant Greens overlooks the Bay. Village Sake in Fairfax is the best place for sushi and is full of fun and funky shops downtown. Muir woods, old growth redwoods, is a must see if visiting here.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to thank my husband John for his unwavering love and support throughout my own personal transformation with this work. And a dept of gratitude to Klymer for purchasing me the ticket that opened up a whole new world.
