Meet Hailey Gabhart | Singer/songwriter & esthetician

We had the good fortune of connecting with Hailey Gabhart and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Hailey, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor behind my success is my faith. I would be nothing without it. By God’s grace I have been saved and my relationship with Him is the only reason I am here today. My spirituality has been the driving factor behind why I do what I do and how I’ve been able to shift my mindset & grow into the person I am today.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
My name is Hailey Gabhart & my artist name is Hailey Heart. This name originated as a spin off of my birth name, but is meant to describe the music I make is from my heart. It was my biggest dream to become a singer up until around 11 or 12 years old, as life progressed and my confidence slowly drifted away. Eventually I had completely forgotten about my gift and it wasn’t until 2021 when I decided to pursue my rekindled passion for music. It all began with a song created just for fun, and quickly advanced into me moving to New York and growing in my craft. I was accepted into Rocnation School of Music’s inaugural class and made the last minute decision to pack up my life and follow my childhood dreams. The deciding factor for me was a reminder that I told everyone at 9 years old I would be a singer in NYC one day. I didn’t know when or how but I just knew in my heart it would happen. And by the grace of God, it did.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I assume we are talking about San Diego here, and as a born and raised SD girl, I have nothing but love for my hometown. I always am talking about how blessed I am to have grown up by the beach, with perfect weather and a beautiful view wherever I went. If my best friend was visiting, first stop would be the beach. My favorite beaches are swamis, La Jolla shores and Carlsbad. I could swim in the ocean all day. And that’s exactly what I did when I visited home this last summer. Nothing beats grabbing a sandwich at board and brew before a Long Beach day. Pacific beach is always fun to walk around, meet new people. I’d take them to crushed for brunch and head to one of the beach clubs for dancing. And of course, you can’t come to San Diego without trying our Mexican food. My favorite is birria tacos. I refuse to eat Mexican food from anywhere other than San Diego!!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I give God all of the glory when it comes to why I am where I am today. I remember being a young teenager, so close to giving up on myself, yet He managed to reveal Himself to me and my life has been forever changed. I also have to give credit to my parents and grandparents. They have always worked so hard, that I felt like I owed it to them to follow in their footsteps.
