Hi Gabriel, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Like most individuals, I was apprehensive about establishing my own business. This may be true for many entrepreneurs, but one of the primary motivations for beginning my own company was to acquire more control over my own fate. Starting my own company was a long and gradual process that required constant attention, resources, and sacrifice. Splash Mobile Detailing’s mission to serve you and your car with the best treatment possible, whether it’s at your home or business, in a time when “personal service” is becoming increasingly rare.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Splash Mobile Detailing is a San Diego based mobile detailing company that specializes in the protection, restoration and maintenance of your vehicle. Our team works passionately and holds an extensive amount of knowledge in ensuring your vehicles aesthetic needs are met. We focus on the needs of your vehicle, from interior shampooing and detailing to exterior polishing and ceramic coating. We are committed to providing a high level of service to the needs of our customers and provide an absolute quality service.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d do everything I could to make their trip as enjoyable as possible. I’d emphasize why San Diego is one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse cities in the country. I’d start in San Diego’s south end and work my way up north. Starting with high-profile locations, add in some local hidden gems.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to give a shoutout to my family and friends that have given me strength and encouragement in my entrepreneurship journey. They say to surround yourself with like minded people if you want to succeed and my friends are all hard workers that are going to accomplish great things in this life as well. “The secret of success is learning how to use paining pleasure instead of having pain and pleasure use you.
