Hi Eyga, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
The best advice I can give to any little girl out there is – show up for yourself everyday even when you don’t want to, don’t have the resources or it’s hard. If the future doesn’t seem promising, just show up for yourself. Because if you don’t, who will? Don’t neglect your future. One of my favorite quotes is

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” by Eleanor Roosevelt.

What should our readers know about your business?
San Diego Swim Week is an effervescent celebration of creativity that strengthens the fashion community. It is the premier platfom for passionate designers and models to exhibit their talents at the most elite venue in San Diego. An event first of its kind, showcasing the authentic summer experience through luxury swimsuits and resort styles.

Our talented team has years of experience producing and assisting in international events within the industry, earning accolades for their work and garnering an elite lineup of top competitive runway models. Our first class lineup of talented designers will be given valuable runway exposure, including: print, online, and social media. Allowing them to connect with a large audience looking to get the latest in styles and invest in high quality experiences. In 2020, Eyga began her journey of crafting a unique experience in the fashion world by founding San Diego Swim Week. Thankful for the growing success, she emphasizes that it is through the generosity and support of her incredible sponsors that they can showcase the amazing talent and creativity of it’s
designers, models, cast and crew.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
If a friend of mine came to San Diego, it would be my duty to enlighten them about how beautiful San Diego is. One of my favorites places to start would be in La Jolla. The Mexican restaurant “Javier’s” – you gotta try the delicious margaritas! Another unbeatable joint in PB is “Mavericks.” This beach club has incredible food, live DJ’s, games. Next we would be on the way to Ocean Beach. On Wednesdays, the farmers market is unlike any other. There is fresh food and juice, jewelry, bands, art and much more. For dinner, in OB, we would go to Wonderland! If we’re feeling fancy we would head over to Little Italy and go to “Born and Raised,” this two-store, low-lit glitzy restaurant is delicious and intimate. In Little Italy, we have got to stop for gelato. All of these places feature breathtaking views and unforgettable food. San Diego Swim Week was born from embracing San Diego culture and lifestyle. Our local designers, models and team make this event unique and engaging.

Thanks to your support and participation, we were able to cast many aspiring models, and host our valued guests: Miss Earth, Miss Supranational & Miss Grand California, Miss Santa Monica and Miss Hollywood; in such an amazing location in the heart of PB.

Our event turned out to be a huge success! Almost a year of hard work has started to pay off. We sincerely appreciate Maverick’s time and efforts during the event; accommodating our judging area, providing a safe space & following Covid-19 Protocols for our models, and providing quality food and drinks for our attendees.
