We had the good fortune of connecting with Elizabeth Flores and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Elizabeth, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The most important factor behind the success of my brand is family. Everything that we do is family oriented and both my husband and I work together to make it all happen. There is no “Flores Twins And Fam” without family. My husband and I have to be on the same page when it comes to everything that we do on our page. If there is something that I don’t believe is right for our content, we won’t do it. Same goes for my husband, this all works because we work together as a team to make it happen. There is so much to do with responding to emails from brands wanting to collaborate, blog posts and Instagram posts all have to be written and edited. That is a lot for one person to do so we work as a team to make it all happen. That is what I would love to share with people who want to go down the same path. You need your support system and everyone has to be in it 100% for you to not only have the success that you are looking for but also the sense of accomplishment when you see how others love what you do.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
What I am most proud of is the amount of memories that my husband and I have been able to provide and share with our twin daughters. We both come from humble backgrounds and to see how much our daughters have gotten to experience in just 4 years is amazing to us and we don’t take it for granted. I feel that I got to where I am today because I am genuine with my content, I share a lot about my day to day life, I feel that is what connects me with our followers, they feel part of my journey and we see it when we run into people and they express how much they enjoy our page and how they love that we share everything that we can. It was not easy to get to where I am today, all this takes a lot of work, long nights and weekends creating content, it can be overwhelming but seeing all the feedback that we get makes it worth it. What I have learned along the way is that people really connect with you as a person when you show more about yourself, not everyone wants to see ads all the time or picture perfect moments. You can’t be afraid to show the not so perfect moments, people really seem to love our bloopers or when our daughters show their silly side. What I want the world to know about us is that we love what we do, all the experiences that we get to enjoy, the trips that we go on, we don’t take for granted. We know that all this is possible because people like seeing what we post. If that wasn’t the case then we wouldn’t be able to do all that we do. I want people to know that we are truly grateful that they come to our page, like and comment and let us know they visit places because they saw it on our page.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend was visiting the area, I would definitely start by taking them to the Carlsbad area. There is so much to do in San Diego, Carlsbad offers plenty of things to do. We would visit the Carlsbad flower fields for some amazing pictures, take a trip to LEGOLAND so that our kids could have some fun and we would definitely do some shopping at the Carlsbad Premium Outlets. As far as food and drinks, we can visit the Windmill Food Hall that has a variety of food options to satisfy anyone’s needs. Another great place to eat has to be Mavericks Beach Club for some great drinks and appetizers. When visiting San Diego you can’t go wrong with some fun at SeaWorld to learn about marine life and see the animals up close. Of course any trip to San Diego wouldn’t be complete without visiting the beach and enjoying some fish and chips by the ocean.

It is nice to know that there is a group of successful Mommy Bloggers who are cheering you on and are excited to watch you succeed. I am thankful for the friendship and mentorship I have with the founder of “The Mommy Blogger Tribe”, Naza Holliman. I know Naza is always there to help me and many other bloggers in any way that we need, she genuinely cares about seeing everyone in our tribe succeed and I know that she would go above and beyond to provide the support to anyone that reaches out.
