Hi Elisabeth Mack and Sherri Mack, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
Holistic Caring, founded in 2015 by Elisabeth Mack, RN, BSN, BA, MBA, emerged as a result of her personal journey to heal herself from orthopedic issues that conventional pharmaceuticals failed to address. She built a private practice to guide patients through the complexities of the healthcare system and educate her fellow nurses to develop comprehensive training tools and resources.

The Green Nurse, established in 2015 by Sherri Tutkus, RN, BSN, experienced her own transformative healing journey with plant therapeutics. Overcoming a near-death experience, Sherri discovered hope and restoration through cannabinoids, leading her to create a practice dedicated to guiding patients and building a community of advanced nurses.

Sherri counseled patients, mentored health professionals, and created her 4x award-winning Green Nurse Podcast.

After spending 30 years in San Diego, Elisabeth now calls Palm Springs home. Elisabeth lured Sherri into making California home as well leading to their cannabis love story and marriage on 11/11/22
They now explore the Coachella Valley and surrounding areas for recreational fun including Joshua Tree, Palm Springs Tramway, and many restaurants in downtown Palm Springs. Our favorite Dispensary – Four Twenty Bank, features onsite consumption, pool tables, an arcade, live music, a glass shop, and plenty of shopping.

We would like to give a big shoutout to the American Cannabis Nurses Association for their leadership in obtaining specialty recognition from the American Nurses Association for Cannabis Nursing. Elisabeth served as Treasurer from 2019-2023 and Sherri is now on the board serving until 2024. We would also like to thank the Grass Roots Cannabis Community in both San Diego and Boston for training, teaching, and inspiring us as we grew and developed our programs and services.
