We had the good fortune of connecting with Debi Ballow and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Debi, any recent epiphanies you can share with us?
Oh yes! Having to stop my business so abruptly during our Covid shut down. I was working so much over time, It forced me to slow down and reevaluate my life. When you are moving so fast you are just going through the motions, causing you to miss moments around you. I realized I needed to spend more time with my loved ones. And, to not let my business be the only thing that defines who I am.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I guess that would be my attention to detail. It doesn’t matter what challenge you throw at me or how many hours it will take to get you there, I won’t rush you out of my chair. I love to create highlights that look effortless, and natural looking tones that melt together to showcase a complimentary haircolor that feels organic.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
Oh that’s a hard one. We have so many great places to visit here in San Diego. Shout out to my team at Savy & Sage beauty company. If i am going to keep it local to North County then my favorite donut shop Side Car Donuts and Ken sushi workshop for the best sushi up here.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My amazing clients who have been so supportive and unbelievably patient during these hard times. I am so grateful for them. Our customers deserve all the recognition right now, they are what’s keeping our businesses going.
