We had the good fortune of connecting with Daniel Sunwölf and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Daniel, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
I aspire to bring awareness to my community by creating media in a way that is both informative and entertaining to digest. This way, the observer can learn about a topic, matter, a skill or even get some advice with a positive intention that supports them. They will feel calm and have an ¨aha¨ moment with themselves. The best thing is that the piece of content (art, photo, video, music, text) will feel as if it were coming from a personal friend of theirs thanks to the warmth and genuine intention.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Thankfully, I come from a lineage of brilliant artists! I have grown up admiring their work as well as being surrounded by their true artistic grace. As a child, I would only focus on my academic talents. I would go to state contests, get straight A´s, and do everything by the book. Once I discovered that I could create a perfect balance between my creative and logical hemispheres, it just clicked for me. Art liberates my soul and every piece I create is a physical manifestation of my soul, heart, mind, and energy. There is a strange feeling that I receive the moment that I am able to plasm my ideas onto a canvas, a song, a photo, or a video. I believe most artists will understand what I´m talking about. It´s like the more we create, the more we expand. That to me is lovely.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
We would definitely visit Balboa Park, La Jolla Cove and Sunset Cliffs!!! Natuuuuuure all the way baby, always, ever. Hahaha. Seriously tho, if there is nature, We will be there. Most of my friends enjoy a casual stroll through the park and love to admire the scenery as much as I do. So, it makes total sense to bring them to a place that brings many of us joy. Perhaps start by grabbing coffee and some vegan brunch by the beach and watch the seals on the shore. Continued by driving over to Balboa Park to visit the museums, the botanical Japanese garden, and take some cute pictures for our memory books. We would then head over back to the beach. This time to catch the sunset at, duh, Sunset Cliffs. Cuddle in the back of our trunks with a warm, fuzzy blanket and drink some hot tea to make a wish as soon as that green flash shows up on the horizon.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
First and foremost, the number one contributor to my success are my parents! They truly have given me all of their love and support throughout my lifetime in order for me to have the necessary abilities to achieve my dreams. Second, my teachers (school and life) whom have guided me in the right direction and have planted beautiful seeds of knowledge that will last forever and that I will continue to educate to future generations.
Thirdly, my friends and strangers (whom I like to call my earth angels). They have given me the strength, love, and appreciation at the right place and at right time.
To all of you, thank you!
