Meet Chelsea Eichler | Brow Artist and Brazilian Wax Specialist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chelsea Eichler and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Chelsea, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
As many, during 2020 I had a thought – “what Is stopping me from doing more?” At the time I was a Nurse working 12+ hour days. and those shifts still did not seem enough. I always wanted to be able to do more. I decided to end up putting my Nursing Career on pause and decided – I want to be an Esthetician. Something I always wanted. I wanted freedom, financially and mentally. I wanted to serve people but a different way. I wanted to be able to be more present with family and be more stable; emotionally, physically and mentally. Once I graduated Esthetician school, I found out I was pregnant and knew I wanted to own my own business to be able to be present with my son and have a successful life. That’s when “Florence Violet Beauty” was born of August 2022. Florence Violet is my middle name, whom I was named after my great- grandma – Florence Violet. So here I am, owning. my own business, raising a family, engaged to the love of my life, serving women all over Orange County and adding to my grandma’s legacy.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
As a Brow Artist and Brazilian Wax Specialist I take pride in educating my clients, making my space a safe space and pour my heart out into my work. In Orange County there are many Estheticians, but no one is me. As a Brow Artist I enjoy helping women feel confident in the skin they are in. Educated them when they are unaware of how to style their eyebrows, how to prep yourself for a Brazilian wax, what to do after you leave my studio, ect. My services are an experience, whether you need to relax or want to jam out to some good music – I’m here for it! As an Esthetician you always want to be evolving, educating yourself and learning about the best products. At Florence Violet Beauty I use hypoallergenic, vegan and non fragrance wax to ensure all skin types can receive their service. I’ve taken courses online and in person to elevate my services and treatment room. I assure you, I didn’t get here thinking I knew it all. I took risks and had the drive to learn the skill to be better than I was yesterday. I want people to know that when they come to Florence Violet Beauty they are loved, safe and there is nothing to be sorry about. As women, we apologize way more than needed – and I want to tell you right now it’s okay to be hairy, not have your toes done, be nervous, have stretch marks ect. You are beautiful and you deserve to be pampered. So please, allow me to be your Esthetician. I promise you are welcome here!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?

I am probably biased because I am a Huntington Beach local and work here too but you can’t go wrong with spending time at Pacific City. There you can eat amazing food, shop for all things, enjoy drinks and have an oceanfront view to watch the surfers and HB pier. My perfect day would be to wake up, walk to Pacific City, get Philz Coffee and sit at the lower deck to watch the waves. Then head for a walk along the boardwalk, allow my son to play at the park on 9th street on the sand, walk back to enjoy some lunch or dinner upstairs at Ola Mexican Grill. I love where I live!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
To be a mom, business owner, fiancé, daughter, and friend it takes a village of incredible people who have helped me get to where I am today. I want to thank my fiancé, Sako – you have always encouraged me, gave me love and tough love. I thank you for guiding me to be the best version of myself and acknowledging that I am more than a mom and soon to be wife. My parents, they have always supported my dreams in every way. Thank you for being my first clients and allowing me to wax you even if you disliked me after. I want to shout out my amazing friends for always being my walking billboard and being so genuine. Lastly, I would like to thank my clients. As I am approaching my first year in business I reflect on all the faces I have met. They are the real MVPs, sharing me on social media, writing reviews, telling friends and family. I want to thank all these people from the bottom of my heart. With out a doubt I would not have started my business if it wasn’t for my Son. I do this for you!
