We had the good fortune of connecting with Carlos Sanchez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Carlos, how do you think about risk?
Risk for me is necessary, without it I wouldn’t be where i’m at today. To go into it deeper I believe if you don’t take any risks or do things that make you uncomfortable you will not be better next year, sure its better said than done but I believe genuinely if you do these two things CALCULATED life will look a lot brighter. It has worked for me and plenty of my friends so to me this is a mandatory if you want more for yourself and the people around you in this life.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Gratefully I am now working full time as a Media Manger for a company called AO. After 4 years of doing Photography and Videography on my own I was reached out in a DM on Instagram to work for this company and when I joined, it was one of the greatest decision i’ve made to this day. The first 4 year before this accomplishment to say it was easy, it was not. There were days where i struggled to pay for anything sometime the only 5 dollars I had were for gas to get me to school but without those struggles I believe I wouldn’t be where I’m at today. The biggest thing for was in creating this path for myself was having faith, faith will give you your north star, give you your purpose, your why in life.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I Currently live in Seattle, WA and honestly there is so much to do out here you really can’t go wrong with doing whatever out here. If i had to choose of course the Space Needle is mandatory if you visit, M Bar is an amazing view and drinks spot! Lastly a park that still till this day one of my favorites is Gas Works day or night!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
In my life the people that were instrumental in creating this journey of creation are, first and foremost my family and when I say family i mean my immediate and cousins the support from them is unmatched. Also shoutout to the person that believed in me and my dream, Devonte Pearson (T.S The Solution) for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself completely.
