We had the good fortune of connecting with Carley Greiner and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Carley, what do you attribute your success to?
The most important factor of my success and that of my brand is without a doubt staying consistent and diligent with mindset work.
Remaining steadfast in those practices has allowed me to push through seasons of difficulty without quitting, continually up-level my income, and stay grounded in my purpose to positively influence the female-led business world.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m a mindset and business coach for female entrepreneurs. I work with women-owned businesses, primarily online, on leveraging their mindset, harnessing their innate power, and mastering their marketing in order to make the money of their wildest dreams.
As a former high-level copywriter and before that, a teacher, I bring a solid foundation of mentorship skills and marketing knowledge to my coaching containers. Now, as a certified hypnotherapist and life coach, I’m blending the power of the conscious and subconscious mind with my other skills to help my clients at a higher level than ever before.
I believe the first thing that sets me apart is the blend of strategy and spirituality that I use with my clients. I’m a very type A person in many ways and a textbook Virgo (the astrology lovers reading this will know exactly what I mean), so I love the black and white nature of strategy in business. I love building content strategies, funnels, and launch plans with my clients to streamline their marketing.
However, the spiritual side of my business is what saved me. I’ve had “valleys” in business, as they say. Down seasons and struggles. I’ve experienced burnout from overworking and missed out on so much life because I was stuck at my desk. I’ve wanted to quit more than once. But my spirituality, my connection with God and the universe, and my understanding of how energy works is what brought me back on track.
I realized that manifestation, self love/care, balance, and alignment were all vital alongside my strategy and structure in order to truly have a thriving business.
I can have both; a structured business AND a spiritual business. A wildly successful, ever-growing income AND time off for my personal life to thrive. I love the word “AND”. It reminds me I don’t have to choose and that I can create my life to be whatever I desire.
All of those realizations have helped me better serve my clients by showing them how powerful and capable they are to run a successful business, while also leaving room to enjoy life outside of it. I get to empower women with their wealth, guide them on their confidence journey, and teach them that sacrifice doesn’t have to be part of the equation on their journey to overflowing abundance.
Beyond that, I think the biggest thing that sets me apart and what I’m proudest of is the genuine connection I have with my clients. I’ve had coaches in past years who weren’t very personal and kept it strictly professional, but that couldn’t be further from the truth with me. They aren’t dollar signs to me – they are soul sisters who happen to be clients. I guide them on this entrepreneurial journey, yes, but I hold space for their big visions and purpose here in this world as well. I know them as people as much as I know them as CEOs. The mindset work (both conscious and subconscious) that I do with them requires vulnerability so I ensure to mirror that vulnerability to create a safe place for authenticity and as a result, help them actualize their goals and dreams. I’m honored to mentor them as CEOs and even more proud to know them as women.
The last thing I’d want the world, especially the female world, to know is that they are in control. They get to change any part of their business or life that isn’t serving them and invite in something better. They’re worthy of attracting a fabulous life. I use a phrase that is now part of my brand to remind me (and my clients) of that fact. It goes, “This is how my life gets to be now”.
Something good happens? Someone pays for your coffee? You get an unexpected check in the mail?
“This is how my life gets to be now”
It represents normalizing good things happening to us and deciding that we’re worthy of calling in anything we desire.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I owe everything to my parents. They have always instilled in me the idea that I can do, be, or have anything I wanted – and set me up with the ambition, discipline, and encouragement to make it happen.
Between that and the unwavering support of my loving husband, Jeff, and my queen of a mentor, Kelly Adams, I’ve become the successful CEO that I am today.
