Meet Caitlin Wright | Owner + Interior Designer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Caitlin Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Caitlin, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
We put a lot of emphasis on being client focused and creating the best experience possible for our clients. Construction, remodeling, and even just furnishing with supply issues right now, can be such a huge stressor and we strive to take the stress away from our clients so they can enjoy the process. There are always going to be issues that arise, whether it be material delays, incorrect installation or a damaged delivery. We want to solve the problem prior to even bringing it to the client attention in order to be a solution orientated firm.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Hannah and I met at a previous design firm, we quickly realized that our strengths complimented each other tremendously and decided that we should give starting something on our own a shot. When we first started Realm Design Co., we did not have many funds saved up and had to find a scrappy way to market ourselves and get our name out there. We reached out to a few past contestants on the show “The Bachelor” and were super grateful to be given the chance to help them with their homes in return for social media posting. We worked with Becca Tilley on her townhome in Studio City and then helped Jade and Tanner Tolbert with their home in San Juan Capistrano. The Tolbert’s home made it into People magazine which really helped to get eyes on our business – we still get business from that project today!
We have had many different points where we needed to pivot, COVID-19 was a big one that made us really figure out a way to still be able to design, but remotely. This opened a whole opportunity for remote design and led us to be able to design in places such as Chicago, Dallas, and Nashville!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Hannah and I have worked really hard to get Realm Design Co. to the place it is today, but a lot of our business success and structure we have to shout out Lane Hoffbeck from Hoffbeck + Co. He has been and continues to be a huge support for our company whether it be finances or business guidance, he’s our go-to! We also want to acknowledge that our friends and family have been a massive support system as well, cheering us on and knowing we can make this happen!
