The last decade has come with extreme lows for me, which have prepared me to step into my true self, calling, and life’s purpose.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
San Diego is such a beautiful city that this question is pretty challenging. Here are my recommendations.

1. I would take them to two black-owned businesses: By Any Beans Necessary downtown San Diego and The Spacebar in La Mesa for great ambiance and excellent coffee.

2. An excellent way to tour the city is the “Hop on Hop off City Tour,” Best of the Bay 90-minute Harbor Tour.

3. Excellent locations to eat are found in Old Town; an excellent recommendation is the Tequila Factory, Bali Hai, Point Loma, Blancos in Fashion Valley Mall, Chicano Park, and Roundone in Plaza Bonita in the south bay (Chula Vista).

All in all, San Diego is a fantastic city to visit.
