Hi Bryttani, what principle do you value most?
Authenticity matters most to me because that is a representation of who I am and my business. Showing up as yourself allows others to feel comfortable being who they are.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
PositiveNrGems started out as a hobby during Covid and quickly transformed overtime into a business due to demand. People were loving my designs I was just sharing online for fun.

I would have to say it started off fairly easy and as I aspired to scale, it became much more difficult. The lessons along the way in relation to pricing my pieces and consistency definitely kept me on my toes. The demand for content and new art was quite hard to balance as a solo entrepreneur. These days I have been working on building more of the small pieces of a business that go unrecognized like marketing and expense reports.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my friend was coming into town, I would take them to Black Market Flea simply for the experience of black joy. Also, we would go to the beach and maybe take a road trip to the desert. Due to LA being so populated we could do activities such as hiking and kayaking or maybe even see a movie on a rooftop.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would love to give a shoutout to Gilded Grotto and Divine and Twined, both business are woman owned and have pour into me to be the business-woman I am today.
