Meet Brianne Garcia | Master Licensed Esthetician & Massage Therapist

We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianne Garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Brianne, as a parent, what have you done for you children that you feel has had the most significant impact?
I am a parent. Being a Mother has been the driving force & motivation behind my business! The most impactful thing I have done was taking a lead of faith, trusting in God to build my business to create work/life balance. It has taught my daughters work ethic, that anything is possible, to follow their dreams, to pursue their passion, to trust in God, to develop their gifts & talents, to step out of the box!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets me apart from others in my industry is my ability to master dual licensure. I started off as a licensed esthetician. I developed a strong passion for skin care by helping clients achieve their skin care goals & skin transformation. I quickly also became interested in massage therapy. Others noticed a gift I hadn’t pursued yet during the massage portion of facial services. I saw a need for massage therapy. Clients were asking me to also learn massage because I was, “so good at it naturally.” While I worked at the W Away Spa full time. I attended massage therapy school. I was trained at school & at work by highly sought after therapist. Soon enough I was able to provide the same level of service for my skin care clients for massage clients. I became a one stop shop for clients to receive 5 star skin care & massage services all in one!
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love Seaport Village! It is my favorite tourist spot in San Diego! I love walking around and taking a walk down the harbor. I would also recommend balboa park as a must see location in San Diego as a tourist. It is a beautiful place to walk around filled with culture & museums. Coronado Island is a must see! The hotel Del, the beach. I would also highly recommend mission bay/fiesta island for fun beach sporting day can rent a boat or jet ski’s. La Jolla’s children’s pool/beach is my favorite beach to go to! It is beautiful. You can see seals. To eat, definitely Old Town! You can’t come to San Diego and not have good Mexican food! If you want to splurge, a dinner cruise on the horn blower is amazing! You can see the beautiful San Diego sky line on the water.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would like to give a shoutout to my Grandmother (RIP) Lydia Coderre. She was a very influential woman/entrepreneur in my life. My grandmother had plans for me to take over her interpreting business. However I wanted to peruse my own path & find my own passion. She took me with her to work. I saw in court rooms while she translated. I traveled with her to go translate. I watched her stay up late typing depositions. I also got to spend time with her on the weekends, vacations, holidays. I watched her work hard all while making family a priority! She showed what hard work & grit could do! She provide me with wonderful childhood memories of trips and cultivating family relationships! She never missed a party yet she was the hardest working women I knew!
