Meet Breonna Vann | Intuitive Reiki Practitioner , Dancer/Choreographer , Oracle Reader

We had the good fortune of connecting with Breonna Vann and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Breonna, how do you think about risk?
I think about taking risk, as a leap of faith into the unknown. You won’t know the full truth and outcome until you dive in. A lot of my life , I have taken multiple risks and not once have I ever regretted it. Because I know that even if it does not work out, at least I took a chance and tried with everything in me. I wouldn’t have known that til I dove in, and that is why I will always do it. I crave knowledge and wisdom from all vibrations of life. Taking a risk brings expansion into your life. If I never took a chance on myself and my reiki business, I would never know just how truly beautiful life could be in this specific way. I wouldn’t have known that my dance career can go even deeper if I did not take a chance on myself in that audition room and class. With these experiences, your intuition and trust within yourself deepens and strengthens, leading you to more spaces that reflect that awareness and reliability.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I am most proud and excited that I have been able to cultivate so much healing for myself and others in a very unique way. I am a professional dancer and reiki practitioner. These are two modalities that I am deeply passionate about that I was able to combine together. Getting here was not easy, I have been a dancer my whole life and it is a very competitive, mentally and physically challenging industry. I was not introduced to reiki til a little over a year ago during the pandemic. In the early stages of the pandemic, I had a complete life crisis because I felt like I did not know who I was anymore. I couldn’t dance, travel, connect and heal with others but that is what I wanted to do. I felt lost, until I found reiki. It changed my life, allowed me to heal and deepen my relationship with everything on this earth and only until then did I feel my spark for life and dance come back in a new and exciting way I had never felt. I had to sit with myself and get to know all these knew versions of myself and say goodbye to old ones. It was not easy, there were a lot of growing pains, but I knew that this type of healing was necessary in my life and I wanted to share with others and help people just as much as reiki and dance helped me. Overall , I learned that I have all the tools within me to succeed. I have to love myself and trust myself enough to know that the decisions that I am making is leading me down an authentic path that fulfills my purpose. And I can only do that when I begin to be honest with myself and cultivate an honest relationship with myself and others. Im blessed to say I am on that path and will continue to be on this beautiful path. What I want people to know about my brand and my story is that being you is your greatest superpower. Us humans are capable of more than our brains can even comprehend. Anything is possible when you have the right mindset, tools, and community around you. And even if you feel like you cannot find it, create it. I am beyond grateful as a Black woman to be able to build and raise communities to heal for their highest and greatest good.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my bestie was visiting the area I would definitely take them to Sage Sanctuary! It is a beautiful holistic yoga and wellness center that offers an array of classes and workshops! Another beautiful spot I would take my best friend to is walking around Old town Temecula, they have a beautiful farmers market every Saturday morning and amazing coffee shops such as The Press Espresso!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would love to dedicate a shoutout to all of my dance mentors throughout the years such as Josh and Jacobie Bluhm, Danyel Moulton, and Antoine Troupe that have gotten me to where I am today and continue to be a huge inspiration for me! I also want to acknowledge my current mentors at Sage Sanctuary Katy Russell and Cory Bailey Fernandez for introducing me into such a beautiful community and offering me so much love and support since day one. Lastly, at CSUSM where I currently pursue my studies, Professor Crystal Sepulvéda and Professor/Program Director of Dance Studies Karen Schaffman for deepening my understanding in dance and the body through a different lens. All of these beautiful souls have impacted my life immensely and I am so grateful to have met them in this lifetime.
