Meet Bianca Ramos | Travel Advisor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Bianca Ramos and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Bianca, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve been traveling all my life and have become a go to for how to travel and things to do in destinations. I saw a need – many people want to travel and don’t for various reasons. Most of the time, I found people don’t have the time and/or get overwhelmed with all the details that go into having an amazing vacation. The timing for starting a business was perfect, when the world shut down in 2020. I’ve been looking at going back to school and starting something for years and never pulled the trigger. In 2020 I went back to school for travel and also completed a Destination Specialist Certificate for Hawaii.
Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Anyone who starts a business knows how hard it. From the beginning, when it’s just you doing everything and even later, once you have some momentum it still has its challenges. I got to where I am today by seeking and continuing to seek out help from others. Hiring professionals to help me in areas I know nothing about like graphic design. Mentors are amazing at teaching me what I don’t know and how to be better. Networking and getting out into the community, I feel, are key to growth and success. Having a great website doesn’t mean you’ll be found. It’s true what they say you need to get out and hit the pavement.
I want people to know I’m here for those who want to take those dream vacations, but don’t know how or are too busy to put it together. Everyone should get out and experience this amazing world we live on for a little while and I want to help them get to those places. I help busy people by putting together a trip they’ll love and remember for a lifetime.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Where I live in central California, it feels like there are endless places to check out. We can head north to Lake Tahoe and go tubing in the summer or skiing in the winter. To the west, we have the San Francisco area where one can spend days touring the sites like the redwoods, museums, driving along the coast and excellent restaurants. Head east for Yosemite and some breathtaking views. The city I live in, Lodi, has a fast-growing wine scene with over 80 wineries! Many have live music and various fun events on the weekends.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I have a great support system starting with my husband, who often says, “whatever you need love, just let me know”. My sister, who is excellent at calming my overactive brain and teaching me that sometimes it’s ok to just do nothing. My mentors Shelley & Kathy for answering my never-ending questions. Thank you for your continuous love, help and support.
