The affirmation is I will reason
I will will
And I will act
But guide Thou my reason, will and activity to the right thing that I should do.

So what it means to me is that I have to do the work, but I want to be guided by The Universe.
And that’s how I live my life. Guided by the universe. That’s how I play my violin. Guided by the universe.
And it’s the best way to live correctly. I believe that if I ask the universe to guide me, it will guide me successfully

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?

This video will tell you very much about everything that you are asking in this.
I have been very blessed in my career.
I played with the San Diego Symphony, the San Diego opera, the Los Angeles, Philharmonic, the Los Angeles opera. The Mainly Mozart Orchestra, and when I found out I was going to become a grandmother. I figured I would join a rock group.
So I toured with the Moody, blues, and Kenny Loggins, and the rock group Yes., John Denver, James Taylor, Yanni, and many more.
I now play with the Hutchins Consort and Larisa Stow, and Shakti Tribe. I also toured and played with Pavarotti, Andrea, Bocelli, Placido Domingo. It was actually very easy to get to where I am today because I used that affirmation that I quoted earlier. It was like everything I wanted to do it came to me.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them to the Self Realization Fellowship gardens, and then go to Plumeria Thai restaurant in downtown Encinitas And another idea of the best time ever is to hike the beautiful spots and mountains around San Diego.
I love los Peñasquitos Hike, and then hiking in Laguna Mountains, Cuyamaca, Volcan Mountain, Corte Madera… is amazing.
I would invite them to one of my concerts, which would be on a weekend. I do love good food! I’m going to the Veranda Restaurant in Fallbrook this Saturday for my birthday, and then doing the Amazing Santa Margarita River hike right after.
If there is a good play somewhere, I would like to do that also.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There are so many people to shout out to… first off I wouldn’t be where I am without my guru, Paramahansa Yogananda. The Teachings from Self-Realization Fellowship, is paramount in my success. Through these teachings I have learned how to calm my mind, so I can let inspiration flow through me instead of my own ego. Of course, all my violin teachers. My dear friends, and family, who have supported me when I was on tour and not blaming me for being away
