We had the good fortune of connecting with Beth Jeffrey Photography Jeffrey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Beth Jeffrey Photography, is there a quote or affirmation that’s meaningful to you?
If you truly love what you do it doesn’t feel like work and success will come naturally! What I like about this quote is I feel like it pertains to my photography career. Many times I have wanted to give up but because I enjoy it so much, I kept wanting to do it and it just doesn’t feel like work it feels like something I’m enjoying and therefore I feel like that’s the reason I’ve become the most successful!

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
One of the things I’m the most proud of is getting published almost in National Geographic on the your shot challenge, they picked me out of thousands of people, there was only seven photos that were selected in mine was selected and people were voting. I was very close to making it in the magazine as well and it was just so exciting to me because it’s my always been my dream! I definitely had some bumps in the road.  Most recently during coronavirus there was a couple months I didn’t work and that was really tough but I am just starting to pick up again. It was just really hard because I thought I was never gonna be able to take pictures based on what’s been going on . I was really scared ! I have had some bumps in the past like that as well And I almost gave up but I just keep continuing to pursue photography. I can only hope my business will stay strong and people see my passion and how dedicated I am in getting the best photos for them. I love when I see my photos  put on my clients wall or share with their family and friends! I try and make it fun and a great experience also!

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to the beach! Anything coastal here is amazing the food beaches wildlife and culture! My favorite beach is moonlight beach and Handels ice cream as well as Encinitas Shopping and food! Swamis is my second favorite beach and surfing is a must! La Jolla is a great place also to snorkel, see the seals, and eat out!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Really the recognition goes to all my clients who continue to use me over and over again and that refer me to their friends and family that’s the only way that I’ve become successful and I really appreciate that!
