Meet Avneet Singh | Founder, Regent Row

We had the good fortune of connecting with Avneet Singh and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Avneet, what do you attribute your success to?
We built Regent Row based on our extensive experience, having been in the industry for over two decades. We recognized that this is a highly underserved market in need of attention. Regent Row is a men’s apparel brand reshaping the landscape of inclusive sizing. Its mission is to fill the void in the market with high-quality, stylish, and technologically advanced clothing options for men sizes XL to 6XL. Fashion brands and society often conveniently forget to include the majority of the US population in the conversation. However, the reality is that 39 million people in America are size XL and above, yet 90% of the stores do not carry anything above size XL. Typically, one can find larger sizes at the back of the rack, but these are usually of poor quality or do not fit right, resulting in disappointment, frustration, and low self-esteem. Success for the brand is when men can feel empowered, celebrated, and confident in every garment. Each item at Regent Row is made with premium fabrics, designed to ensure unparalleled comfort and confidence.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Founded by industry veterans from Zappos and Walmart, with over 16 years of experience, Regent Row was born out of a desire to serve a community of men traditionally overlooked by the fashion industry. Our mission is not just to dress Big & Tall men but to empower them with confidence and style through clothing that truly fits and flatters. Unlike big box retailers, which often lack the space to carry larger sizes, and eCommerce brands, which typically do not represent larger sizes in a positive light, Regent Row stands out by offering high-quality clothing that mirrors our customers’ real appearances, enabling them to feel seen and empowered.
The journey to create clothing that fits well for a diverse set of body types was far from easy; it presented our biggest challenge. We conducted over 20 different fit tests and spent more than a year sourcing the right fabric to ensure our clothing not only fits perfectly but also offers unparalleled comfort and durability. Our current collection features temperature-regulating technology, making it extremely breathable, moisture-wicking, and wrinkle-resistant. This attention to detail has been well received by our customers, who frequently commend the softness and quality of the fabric, as well as the confidence they gain from clothing that reflects their true selves.
From the early feedback, it’s clear that our customers appreciate seeing themselves represented and enjoy the superior fit of our clothes. Moving forward, we aim to further perfect our fit and offer more affordable options, all while maintaining these high-quality standards as our core commitment.
At Regent Row, we believe that everyone deserves to look good and feel comfortable regardless of their body shape. Over the upcoming year, we plan to offer a wide range of products that empower men to have choices and feel confident in their body.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
For an epic week long vacation with my best friend, we would mostly hang out in the neighborhoods of Silver Lake, Echo Park, and Highland Park, with a special day planned in Venice and a trip to the iconic Rose Bowl Flea Market. We would start our journey Sqirl and Night + Market Song in Silver Lake, giving us a taste of the local culture right from the get-go. Echo Park will be our playground for a day, where we’ll enjoy paddle boating on the lake and catch an indie show at The Echo, immersing ourselves in the local arts scene.
Downtown LA for cultural treasures, including visits to The Broad and MOCA, an art-filled afternoon before dining at Bestia in the Arts District, a meal I think about all the time! Highland Park is great for its vintage vibes and we can explore galleries and enjoy a dinner at Cafe Birdie or Barra Santos. A leisurely day in Silver Lake is also on the agenda, perfect for strolling around the reservoir and winding down with wine tasting at Silverlake Wine.
Venice and Santa Monica during the weekend, with plans to indulge in the unbeatable burgers at Win-Dow at American Beauty and soak up the beach vibes.
The grand finale of our trip will be scouring the treasures at the Rose Bowl Flea Market, followed by dinner at Raffi’s or Mini Kabob.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Chapman University – Leatherby Center for Entrepreneurship and Business Ethics has been a great support system for me to find mentors and ask questions about growth for the business.
